The patented LTDOS-S dosage slide is a dosage device for filling of solids (also limited use for paste and bitumen) in the range between 500 g and 500 kg or more. Depending on the sensibility of the weighing system, filling weights between e.g. 2 kg and 60 kg can be filled to 10 gram precision very fast and gentle to the product.
In order to achieve the highest performance possible a special closing mechanism was chosen. Owing to the geometric form of the dosage receptacle and a certain angle of the dosage slide towards the powder stream additional properties have been obtained, which have a positive effect on precision and speed.
The bevelled position of the slide towards the product flow creates two different flowing product zones. The straight zone in front flows faster than the back zone and thus remains loose. As a result product flow is still possible in case of a small slide opening (fine dosage). This flow is supported by a gentle activator movement in the outflow zone of the slide. As the product is not stirred also delicate and easily breakable granules, such as chips, flakes, delicate powder, granules etc. can be filled gently.
